LaSalle County, Illinois

LaSalle County is the fourth largest in Illinois, and is located along the Illinois River in North Central Illinois, southwest of Chicago.
It is named for French Explorer René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle. The seat and largest city are both Ottawa, located on the Illinois and Fox Rivers.
It borders Lee, DeKalb, Kendall, Grundy, Livingston, Woodford, Marshall, Putnam and Bureau Counties.
Main Highways include I-39, I-80, US-6, US-34, US-51, US-52, IL-17 and IL-18.
